Interesting 2D shapes
Technically a few of these aren't actually two-dimensional shapes, but I image they would be really interesting as flat shapes in Illustrator.
Symmetry in Nature
Here are a few examples of symmetry found in natural objects that appealed to me.
I like the density in the center and the way the shapes spread out and flatten as they move away from the center.
I feel like this does the opposite of the one above....open in the center and condensed towards the outside.
Simple, clean
I thought the triangular form of this was unique
